I borrowed this from thecrankyone:
1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
I started an online journal. I did a television interview. I went out to graveyards and took some pictures.
2. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I made a resolution to get to know my family, and Ive done that. The other ones unfortunately, I did not keep. I will make more for next year.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My sister Renee had a baby in July; his name is Logan. Hes the first boy in our family in 21 years. My (newly found) brother Joey also had a baby with his wife in October. Oh, and one of my neighbors had a little boy. His name is Gage. Hes adorable!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not this year, thank God.
5. What countries did you visit?
None.
6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
Inner peace. A smaller waist. Good hair days.
7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
April 27th is a bad day every year. Thats the day that man attacked me 22 years ago.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Oh, that would be removing my name from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints membership rolls. It pretty much takes an act of God to get your name taken off their rolls.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yep, I feel into a major manic/depressive episode.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
I gave Mr. Sweatpants $100.00 and he bought me a new dining room set from Rhodes.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Jackie has been growing a lot emotionally. Im very proud of her for being in touch with her emotions.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My ex-husband told my daughter some things about our relationship that were either skewed or outright lies.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent and car payments.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
I was really excited about public speaking and my advocacy work.
16. What song will always remind you of 2003?
I Need Love by Seal.
18/19 What do you wish you'd done more of? Less of?
More: Spending time with Jackie. Less: Being sad and depressed.
24. What was your favorite TV program?
Survivor. I like Cold Case too.
26. What was the best book you read?
I, the former bookworm, have only read a few books this year. None of them are noteworthy.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery of 2003?
I got a trance/house CD that I love with Junior Velasquez.
28. What did you want and get?
I wanted some Gucci Rush perfume, and I bought it.
9. What did you want and not get?
A decent tax return.
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
I liked the movie Enough with Jennifer Lopez.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 29, and I hung out with my friend Ms. Terry.
32.What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
That would be: getting the DNA results within 6 weeks instead of waiting 6 months and still not having the answer at the end of the year.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2003?
I tried some new things, added some color here and there. But I still dress for comfort.
34. What kept you sane?
The very person that drives me insane sometimes actually kept me sane in my worst times: Jackie. Oh, and good friends help too.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? None.
36. What political issue stirred you the most? Blah.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2003?
That would be to take each day at a time.
40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
From Ms. Jackson: You can plan a pretty picnic but you cant predict the weather. I think that means, YOU CANT PLAN EVERYTHING, geez!
