From my darling offspring:::
Mom,
I love you. You are so special and I miss you. What are you doing at work right now? How are you doing at home? I will send you another letter some time. Did you get my last one all right? I got your package today, thank you very much for sending it. I'm glad to have my Barbies and the horse. I like daddy's cough drops (the blue menthol ones). They are so hot. (dad writes: I keep telling her that menthol is not hot, it's kinda cold. But she doesn't believe me). blah, blah, blah...
I don't know what else to say except all the things I've already said, like tying my shoes and learning to read. I like Scooby Doo. etc, etc.
Love,
Jackie
It's not possible to be that prescious! I love you too, my boo. My daughter still loves me..
Mom Writes Back:
Hi Sweetpea,
Thank you so much for writing me. That made my day! I love you this much!! You know, bigger than the sky. Bigger than anything.
You are very special too. I hope you remember that you were born with six fingers on each hand, and your horns went away after about a week. Just kidding.
Besides that, you were and always have been the most sweet and gorgeous little girl. I am very proud that you are such a good person and that you always think of everybody else first. Jesus is proud of you too.
I'm glad you got your box. Every time I went to send it, I found something else I wanted to put in it. That's why it was so full. I had to sit on it to tape it closed. Stop laughing; I know you're laughing at me, silly.
Did you see the Monet notecards I sent? Those are specially for you to write letters on. Please don't put any boogers in the letters you send to me. I have my own and if I run out, Lisa will probably give me some.
I tried to brush your Barbie horses hair but it was tangled. She is in a fashion crisis. Help her honey. Quick, get a hairbrush.
I'm glad I got to send you a few things. Did you like the notebooks for you and Becca?
At work the other day, I had to sit in the basement for 11 hours. It's really haunted and scary. But I just made sure I put my cross on and I was okay. It was pretty creepy but I'm just facing the spooky things and dealing with them.
I still hate bees.
You'd be so proud of me. I went to the museums at the park the other day by myself. It was really neat. I learned about the history of the park. You remember, the park where we go in the summertime to listen to music. We also walk that long trail sometimes, remember? I will send you some pictures from the displays of old uniforms, boots and guns.
I also took some pictures at that graveyard we went to. The Veterans cemetary that had all those white stones. It was really peaceful there. I put some roses on a few graves and I took a few pictures so you can show them to Daddy and tell him what all the white stones mean.
I got my nails done. You'd be proud. Is Kerry or somebody doing your nails?
Little Oreo is getting big, but he's starting to run from me like Krystal does. Tori isn't taking care of her gerbils so I'll probably get them back. That stinks.
I sent you another letter yesterday. I hope you get it soon. I sent some stamps so you could write me, and some of your stickers that you left in my car. I also found the hashbrowns you left under my front seat and some melted crayons. Thanks a lot!
Be good. I know it's hard, even I have a hard time doing that. Try to thank God for food. And also for Daddy, Kerry and Becca and that you are having so much fun visiting. I think it's neat that Daddy's teaching you what I couldn't. That's the neat thing about parents. Where the one is not so good, the other one takes over.
I am very tired. I've been working a lot, and the house is a mess. I think my aunts and uncles are visiting but I can't find them in all the mess.
The roses bloomed the other day. I put a petal in the letter. They smell real pretty, unlike old socks that I found of yours under the couch other other day. Your old socks could wilt flowers.
Oblivia and her minion are moving out in a month. I know you're sad.
Iris says that Tori misses you real bad. If you want, have Daddy sent a letter to tori to mommy and I'll give it to her.
Sweetpea:
I just want to say that one time you told me something that made me feel really good. You said that when you were in heaven, you picked me to be your mom because you knew I'd love you the most and treat you the best. Well, I just want to say, "Thanks for picking me to be your mom. It's been the best time of my life. I feel very lucky to have you."
I miss you my princess,
No one to dance to bed with, except your big red teddy bear,
No one to kiss, except little Rene', and he stinks,
No one to sit on me, fart on me, lay on me, except Iggy. He still leaves little presents because he doesn't want me to be lonely. Eww. Gross.
I stay busy. I'm not home much. You'd be bored.
Have fun my sweetheart,
Love Always,
Your momma
